I have a love for cooking, so of course I used garlic as a topic to practice my hand lettering. You can never use too much garlic in a recipe.

I used a random word generator by @wtfshouldiletter on instagram for this hand lettering practice piece.

I wanted to make this hand lettering simple, limiting myself to only black and white. I think it’s important to challenge yourself and to practice new skills outside of work.

I illustrated these valentine characters to be cute and fun for children to be able to attach pieces that would bow out and look dimensional. The requirements for these valentines only included two dies and four designs, so the characters were repeated with changed colors. This was a new activity we made, so I also designed the packaging.

I wanted to illustrate these die-cut valentines to have very round, cute characters with big bellies because chibi-like animals go over well with a children based audience.

This is just a simple hand lettering design I made to practice.
